Risk Appetite

A risk appetite statement is a quantitative and qualitative description of the level of risk we will accept in the normal course of business.  Where possible limits and early-warning signals should be quanitative; the data should be readily available within the institution’s data estate and published – at a frequency reflecting the potential volatility of the risks concerned – to all those charged with monitoring and managing the risk.

We can draft your risk appetite statement to meet current regulatory expectations as well as those of your own Board Risk Committee, optimising use of existing data sources and creating automated cockpits and dashboards through the risk control infrastructure from the CRO down.
